MOSCOW. April 11 (Interfax) - Government defense orders are at least 97% fulfilled, and the system has become better organized and efficient, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said in the government report to the State Duma on Wednesday.

"More than 58,000 systems and complexes have been supplied to the forces over these years. Some 800 military units and formations have been modernized as a result," Medvedev said.

The production of conventional weapons has been organized, and the system of government defense orders "has become streamlined and efficient," Medvedev said.

"The fulfillment [of government defense orders] has considerably improved over the past six years. The fulfillment rates used to average 80%, and now they are up to 97%," he said.
