Russia, Serbia to hold joint military drills in Aug
LUGA (Leningrad region). April 19 (Interfax) - A Serbian military delegation has arrived in the Leningrad region to discuss the joint tactical exercises that will be conducted in August 2018, the press service for the Western Military District told Interfax on Thursday.
"During the three-day visit, the Serbian military took part in a planned conference on the preparations for the Russian-Serbian tactical exercise with combat firing practice scheduled for August," the press service said.
The Serbian military also visited the separate motorized brigade of the Western Military District stationed in Luga in the Leningrad region.
"In the military city, the Serbian delegation was shown infrastructure and training facilities. On the firing range, the Serbian servicemen were able to observe a tactical exercise of motorized units involving combat training using various weapons and military hardware," the press service said.
