Roscosmos hopes for further cooperation with NASA under new administrator

MOSCOW. April 23 (Interfax) - Roscosmos hopes that cooperation with NASA on new projects will deepen under the latter's new administrator, Jim Bridenstine.

"It is important for Russia and all other space powers that our collaboration continues in the new joint space projects. We hope that collaboration between Roscosmos and NASA will continue with the same level of trust and partnership on an equal and mutually profitable basis," Roscosmos said in a statement on its website.

Space has always been an area for partnership among nations, and the International Space Station is a fine example, the statement said.

The U.S. Senate approved Bridenstine as NASA's new administrator on April 19.
