Military parade marking Azerbaijani army's centenary to take place in Baku in June
BAKU. April 27 (Interfax) - A military parade dedicated to the Azerbaijani army's centenary will take place in Baku on June 26, a military source told Interfax.
"Various types of military hardware will participate in the jubilee parade. Warships will conduct maneuvers at sea, and aircraft of the Azerbaijani Air Force will demonstrate their skills in the skies of Baku," the source said.
Military hardware and weapons of the Azerbaijani army which can destroy hostile targets and protect Azerbaijan under any circumstances will be displayed, the source said.
Thousands of servicemen from all branches, services, formations, specialized schools, and paramilitary units will participate, the source said.
The Azerbaijani army was established on June 26, 1918.
