Russia's national definition money supply expands 0.8% in March - Central Bank
MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - Russia's M2 national definition money supply expanded 0.8% to 42.375 trillion rubles in March 2018, the Central Bank of Russia reported on its website.
Money supply shrank 0.2% in January-March.
Money supply on April 1 was 9.9% higher than a year earlier, compared with 9.3% on March 1.
M2 includes M1 (total cash in circulation outside banks (M0) and balances in national currency in demand accounts of resident non-financial organizations, financial organizations (except for credit organizations) and individuals) as well as balances in national currency in time deposits other accounts of resident non-financial organizations, financial organizations (except for credit organizations) and individuals.
