Yerevan bank robber identified as police colonel

YEREVAN. May 3 (Interfax) - The man who robbed a HSBC bank office in Yerevan is a police colonel.

'The perpetrator is the head of the police center registering traffic violations, Col. Daniel Danielyan," the police press service said.

The HSBC bank office was attacked on a busy Komitas Avenue in the city center on Thursday afternoon.
