Putin to attend 2018 FIFA World Cup's opening match - Peskov
MOSCOW. May 4 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the opening match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"I can say with certainty that the president will, of course, attend the Word Cup's opening. It will be the match between the Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia," Peskov told reporters on Friday.
"Everything will depend on how it goes," he said, replying to a question what other matches of the World Cup the president could attend.
