Russia clears food imports from 3 Belarusian enterprises

MOSCOW. May 10 (Interfax) - Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) is lifting the ban on food product imports from three suppliers in Belarus effective on May 11, the regulator reported.

The three enterprises are Starfood, Verkhnedvinsky Cheese and Butter Making Plant and Luninets Dairy Factory.

At the same time, Rosselkhoznador ordered enhanced laboratory control measures over violations of Russian and Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) standards for two Belarusian enterprises: Myasoprodukt (discovery of benzylpenicillin in beef) and Poultry Farm Rassvet (salmonella in poultry meat).
