EU adopts sanctions against 5 responsible for organizing election in Crimea - Poroshenko
KYIV. May 14 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko welcomes the decision of the Council of the European Union to impose sanctions on five people responsible for organizing the Russian presidential election in Crimea and Sevastopol.
"I welcome the official decision of the EU Council to impose sanctions on five persons responsible for illegally holding a presidential election in the temporarily occupied Crimea and the city of Sevastopol," the president wrote on Facebook on Monday.
