Baku, Minsk discuss new projects fostering combat capacities of Azerbaijani army
BAKU. May 16 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani Defense Minister Col. Gen. Zakir Hasanov and Belarusian State Military-Industrial Committee Chairman Maj. Gen. Oleg Dvigalev met in Baku on Wednesday to discuss military-technical cooperation issues.
"The sides lauded the outcome of the joint activity in the field of defense and military-technical cooperation and stressed the importance of furthering collaboration," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The sides welcomed the delivery of Belarusian military products for all branches and services of the Azerbaijani army.
"Hasanov and Dvigalev discussed a broad range of military-technical cooperation issues and areas of new major projects, which would raise combat capacities of the Azerbaijani army," the ministry said.
