Ukraine attacks area of Donetsk Filtration Station - DPR

DONETSK. May 17 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have again attacked the area where the Donetsk Filtration Station is located, a representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) told reporters.

"At 10:20 a.m. today, the Ukrainian Armed Forces once again opened fire on the area surrounding the Donetsk Filtration Station, where the sides had pledged to observe a complete ceasefire in order to ensure the safe rotation of the station's personnel," the DPR representative said.

Truce violations were also recorded by an OSCE Special Monitoring Mission patrol that was in the area to monitor the situation during a shift change, the representative said.

"At the moment, a bus carrying 30 workers has begun moving from the populated locality of Yasynuvata toward the M04 highway. However, JCCC observers continue recording truce violations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the representative said.
