Putin's last military meeting to address advanced weaponry - Peskov

MOSCOW. May 18 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting to discuss the development of next-generation weapons and equipment on Friday, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"The last of the current series of meeting on issues related to the development of the Armed Forces will be held in the evening. Today's meeting will address the development and production of next-generation models of weapons and equipment for the coming period," Peskov told reporters.

The meeting's participants will also discuss the weapons that Putin described in his Address to the Federal Assembly.
