Russia-UNDP projects total $60 mln, Moscow to continue cooperation - Lavrov

ST. PETERSBURG. May 25 (Interfax) - Moscow intends to further cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP); pending joint projects have a total value of $60 million, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a meeting with UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner.

"Allow me to reiterate our wish to strengthen strategic cooperation with the United Nations Development Program on the basis of the 2015 framework agreement," Lavrov said.

"To my knowledge, the value of our projects planned for the next three years is almost $60 million," he said.

In his remarks, Steiner stressed the importance of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) for the United Nations and other organizations.
