Passage mall on St. Petersburg's Nevsky Avenue fully evacuated

MOSCOW. May 29 (Interfax) - All visitors and employees of the Passage mall on St. Petersburg's Nevsky Avenue, where a fire had occurred, have been evacuated; no one was injured, the operational headquarters on the emergency situation site told Interfax.

"The fire started on the building's roofing; the smoke did not get into the building fast, it allowed all visitors and employees to be calmly evacuated and without panic," the headquarters said.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured. The building's roof is still on fire.
