U.S. withdrawal from deal on Iran puts gas industry at risk - GECF general secretary
BAKU. May 30 (Interfax) - The U.S. withdrawal from the nuclear deal on Iran is negatively impacting economic processes in the world, Yury Sentyurin, general secretary of the
Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), said.
"The U.S. policies on withdrawal from the Iranian agreement are negatively impacting economic processes. We cannot support such approach. We believe that the parties should use market approaches," Sentyurin told reporters in Baku on Wednesday.
The U.S.' actions put the gas industry at risk, he said.
The organization "is following with alarm the current processes in the Iranian gas industry," he said.
