Ground part of int'l military drill Indra 2018 to be held in India

VLADIVOSTOK. May 31 (Interfax) - The ground section of the joint Russian-Indian military drill Indra 2018 will take place at a firing range in India, the press service for Russia's Eastern Military District said.

"The international drill is expected to involve a number of divisions of the all-arms unit of the Eastern Military District stationed in the Primorye Territory," the press service said.

At upcoming conferences, representatives of the Russian and Indian militaries will discuss and approve procedures for crossing the border, the scenario of the practical part of the exercise, the composition of forces and equipment, and logistics for the Russian units.

The ground section of Indra 2018 will take place in the second half of this year.
