New Russian ambassador starts working in Armenia

YEREVAN. June 4 (Interfax) - Russia's new Ambassador to Yerevan Sergei Kopyrkin presented copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Zograb Mnatsakanyan on Monday.

Kopyrkin said relations between the two countries are at a high level, according to the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service.

The Russian ambassador said he will make every effort to develop and deepen Armenia's and Russia's traditionally friendly relations.

The two officials discussed the schedule of upcoming high-level mutual visits, international and regional issues, and the Karabakh settlement process, according to the press service.
