Navalny's St. Petersburg staff coordinator detained - opposition figure's supporters
ST. PETERSBURG. June 4 (Interfax) - Police have detained a coordinator of opposition activist Alexei Navalny's St. Petersburg staff, Denis Mikhailov, for attending the May 5 protest, several staff activists wrote on Twitter on Monday.
"Coordinator of the staff Mikhailov was detained for the protest dubbed 'He is not a tsar for us' on May 5, he is being brought to the 76th police station," according to the tweet.
Interfax still has no official commentary from law enforcement agencies.
