Russian NPOs to monitor election in Turkey remotely
MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Civic Control, the association of Russian non-profit organizations campaigning for the protection of electoral rights, will conduct remote monitoring of the early presidential election in Turkey with assistance of Turkish non-governmental organizations, Alexander Brod, a member of the Human Rights Council and a Civic Control co-chair, told Interfax on Monday.
"We will monitor the election remotely," he said.
Civic Control will conduct remote monitoring with Turkish non-governmental organizations' assistance, Brod said.
The early presidential election is scheduled in Turkey for June 24, 2018. The snap parliamentary election will take place in the country on the same day.
