BEIJING/TIANJIN. June 8 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping took the Hexie Hao high-speed train from Beijing to Tianjin on Friday.
The two leaders arrived from Beijing after talks and other events.
They talked about bilateral relations on the train.
The Hexie Hao has various classes of cars: from sleepers to a roomy cabin where Putin and Xi sat. There is also a dining car.
The train travels at 300 kilometers per hour.
Members of the Russian and Chinese delegations to the Beijing talks accompanied the two leaders.
Hexie Hao means "harmony," a fundamental element of the ideology of the last Chinese president, Hu Jintao.
