Rwandan president to visit Russia, to attend FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Moscow
MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax) - Rwandan President Paul Kagame will fly to Russia and attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup at Luzhniki Stadium, an official from the country's embassy in Moscow told Interfax.
"Indeed, the president will visit Russia on June 12-15. He will attend the ceremony of the opening the soccer world championship," the embassy official said.
The official also confirmed that the Rwandan leader is hoping to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
