Ukrainian FM names three conditions for restoring peace in Donbas
KYIV. June 11 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has reiterated the need to reinstate Kyiv's power in Donbas.
"All the media outlets are talking about Singapore [which will host the meeting between the U.S. president and the North Korean leader], but we need to focus on our tasks: ensuring genuine security under the supervision of the OSCE and peacekeepers, the release of our guys, and holding genuine elections that should be organized by Ukraine and the international community. This is a path toward peace [...]," Klimkin wrote on Twitter on Monday.
"There is Ukrainian soil and Ukrainian citizens in occupied Donbas today, but there isn't Ukraine there. We should return there," he said.
