Moskalkova to meet with Ukrainian colleague Denisova in Moscow on June 18

MOSCOW. June 15 (Interfax) - Russian human rights commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova said she has agreed to meet with her Ukrainian colleague Liudmyla Denisova in Moscow on June 18.

"We have agreed during recent phone calls to meet in my office in Moscow on Monday to map out ways of interaction and to elaborate the optimal schedule and logistics of visits to the citizens Denisova has put on her visitation list submitted to me and, respectively, citizens I have put on my list of possible visitation in Ukraine," Moskalkova told Interfax.

She said the statement by Denisova that negotiations on monitoring visits in Russia had reached a deadlock sounded strange in the context of these agreements.

Moskalkova said she was "completely surprised" by Denisova's refusal to visit Omsk, considering that the Ukrainian human rights commissioner mentioned Dmytro Shtyblikov amongst persons she wanted to visit.
