Mitrokhin detained for picketing near State Duma charged with administrative offense
MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - Sergei Mitrokhin, the head of the Yabloko party's Moscow branch detained during a solo picket near the State Duma, has been charged with a repeat violation of the regulations on public events and released from the police station.
"I have left the police station. I am facing up to 30 days of arrest under Part 8, Article 20.2 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses [repeat violation of the regulations on public events]," Mitrokhin told Interfax.
He said the Tverskoi District Court in Moscow would hear his case on July 5.
