Rosselkhoznadzor discovers further violations in produce from Belarus
MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - Rosselkhoznadzor has again identified violations in produce from Belarusian processing plants; a plant belonging to French dairy giant Danone is among those listed.
The regulator said that the violations were discovered during examinations of produce in Rosselkhoznadzor affiliated laboratories. E. coli group bacteria were again founded in fish from the Lokha trout farm and shipments from the farm have now been placed under tightened laboratory checks.
The same measures are being applied to produce from Mozyr Dairy Products, where an excess of mesophilic aerobic and facultative aerobic microorganism was identified.
Rosselkhoznadzor also informed the Belarusian veterinary service of cases of excess nitrate mass fractions in milk from Bellakt Volkovysk, Orsha Dairy Combinat, Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 and Danone Pruzhany. Sterols were found in cheese from Dyatlovo Cheese-making Plant and Zdravushka-Milk (Kholopenchsky branch).
