Ex-Armenian President Kocharyan summoned for questioning
YEREVAN. July 3 (Interfax) - Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan has been summoned by investigators to be questioned about the dispersal of a demonstration in Yerevan on March 1, 2008, shortly after a presidential election.
"A summons for questioning has been forwarded to Robert Kocharyan," a law enforcement source told Interfax.
The Special Investigation Service of Armenia has not yet responded to Interfax's request for comments.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Special Investigation service charged former Defense Minister Mikael Arutyunyan with "overthrowing the constitutional system" in March 2008 and declared him wanted.
