Vladimir Dmitriev confirmed as temporary Kalashnikov CEO
IZHEVSK. July 5 (Interfax) - Vladimir Dmitriev has been confirmed as CEO of firearms manufacturer JSC Kalashnikov Concern, according to SPARK-Interfax.
Dmitriev, previously deputy head of marketing and sales at Kalashnikov, had been acting CEO.
Kalashnikov spokeswoman Sofia Ivanova told Interfax that Dmitriev had been appointed on a temporary basis, for a period of two months. "During the two months his nomination must receive final approve from the Rostec corporation's supervisory board and then the board of directors will consider making him the permanent CEO," she said. Rostec owns a blocking stake in Kalashnikov.
Kalashnikov Concern's previous CEO and owner of 75% minus one share, Alexei Krivoruchko, has been appointed deputy Russian defense minister.
