Gold production in Russia rose 2% to 92.56 tonnes in 5M - MinFin
MOSCOW. July 11 (Interfax) - Gold production in Russia amounted to 92.56 tonnes in January-May 2018, the Finance Ministry said, citing data on supplies of feedstock to Russian gold refineries.
This is a 2% increase from January-May 2017, when production totaled 90.39 tonnes.
Mine production grew 5% to 72.49 tonnes, byproduct gold production fell 13% to 6.34 tonnes and secondary gold production fell 3% to 13.73 tonnes.
Silver production rose 13% to 423.09 tonnes.
