Two militiamen killed, two wounded over past week - Donetsk
DONETSK. July 13 (Interfax) - Two DPR militiamen were killed and another two were wounded over the past week, a representative of the DPR human rights commissioner's office told reporters on Friday.
"Two servicemen of the republic were wounded as a result of Ukrainian military aggression in the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic on July 6-12, 2018," the representative said.
DPR Defense Ministry official Eduard Basurin told reporters earlier that the Ukrainian troops had violated the "bread truce" 34 times over the past week.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces said earlier on Friday that three Ukrainian troops had been wounded and two militiamen had been killed when fire was returned over the past 24 hours.
The comprehensive and open-ended "bread truce" took effect at 12:01 a.m. on July 1, as agreed on by the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine (TCG) in Minsk. This is the 23rd truce declared by the conflicting sides since 2014, but none of them have been held to the full extent.
