Russian inspectors to visit Danish military site - Russian National Nuclear Risk Reduction Center head
MOSCOW. July 24 (Interfax) - A group of Russian inspectors plans to visit a military facility of Denmark's Armed Forces on Tuesday, July 24, Russian National Nuclear Risk Reduction Center chief Sergei Ryzhkov told Interfax.
"The inspectors will visit a Danish military site at its habitual location in peacetime. During a briefing, information will be received from the commanders regarding the personnel and main weapon systems and equipment," Ryzhkov said.
The visit will take one day.
The inspection will be carried out in accordance with the 2011 Vienna Document on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures. Such assessment visits aim to verify information on military forces and plans to deploy main weapon systems and military hardware.
