Two teens blown up by mine in Horlivka, Donetsk region
DONETSK. July 25 (Interfax) - Two teens have been killed presumably in an explosion of a mine in Horlivka, acting Horlivka Mayor Ivan Prikhodko said on his Telegram channel.
"Two children have died in the Michurine village [Horlivka agglomeration], behind the Izotov mine near the cemetery. Tentatively, [they were] blown up by a mine. There has been no further information so far," he said.
Prikhodko clarified later that the victims are a boy, 17, and a girl, 18.
Horlivka is in Ukraine's Donetsk region and currently a part of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
