Ukrainian govt approves strategy for information reintegration of Donetsk, Luhansk regions
KYIV. July 26 (Interfax) - The government of Ukraine approved a strategy for the information reintegration of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions at a meeting on Thursday.
The strategy is intended to help create a unified system for coordinating the state policy on the information reintegration of those regions, according to the government. In addition, "the strategy is aimed at cultivating in residents of the occupied territories understanding and support of their belonging to the economic, political, and cultural space of Ukraine," it said.
The strategy will be implemented using funds from the state and local budgets using international technical assistance.
The government also ordered the Ministry of Information Policy and relevant agencies to prepare and submit to the government draft measures for the implementation of the strategy.
