NPP may appear in Far East - Russian Deputy PM Borisov

VLADIVOSTOK. July 27 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov has suggested building a nuclear power plant (NPP) in the Far East.

"It is necessary to explore and discuss this idea with Rosatom," Borisov said at the International Far Eastern Maritime Show 2018 on Friday.

The establishment of new enterprises and providing existing ones with workload will give an impetus to the Far East's development, he said.
