Yota boosts RAS revenue 35% to 28.5 bln rubles in 2017
MOSCOW. July 27 (Interfax) - Scartel LLC (Yota brand), an Internet service provider owned by mobile provider Russian MegaFon , boosted RAS revenue 35% to 28.47 billion rubles in 2017, according to the SPARK-Interfax analytical system.
Scartel swung to a net profit of 6.88 billion rubles in 2017 compared with a net loss of 1.37 billion rubles in2016. Profit on sales was 8.76 billion rubles compared with a loss the previous year. Gross profit rose 5.6-fold to 13.8 billion rubles.
Scartel has functioned as a virtual operator on MegaFon's network since August 2014, when it began offering voice services.
