No reason to doubt Greece expelled Russian diplomats under tough external pressure - Lavrov

DVORIKI, Vladimir region. July 30 (Interfax) - Greece made the decision to expel Russian diplomats under tough pressure by anti-Russian forces, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"We have no reasons to doubt that these decisions were made under tough pressure by those who seek to turn any country into a participant in the anti-Russian front," Lavrov said at the Terra Scientia forum in the Vladimir region on Monday.

On July 11, Greece accused Russia of attempts to undermine its national security, announced the expulsion of two Russian diplomats, and imposed an entry ban on two other Russian diplomatic workers.

Moscow dismissed the accusations and warned that these steps would not go unanswered.
