Noble Partner 2018 drill not targeted against any country - Georgian PM
TBILISI. Aug 1 (Interfax) - The goal of the Noble Partner 2018 exercise is stronger regional security, peace, and stability, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said at the drill's opening ceremony at the Vaziani military airfield near Tbilisi.
"We have said many times, and I'd like to say again from this stage, that these international exercises are not targeted against any country; their only goal is to strengthen regional security, peace, and stability, which, I am confident, is in the interests of all people," Bakhtadze said.
Noble Partner 2018, involving more than 3,000 troops from 13 countries, will end on August 15.
