Nabiullina to deliver Camdessus lecture at IMF in Sept
MOSCOW. Aug 1 (Interfax) - Russian Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina will deliver the Michel Camdessus Central Banking Lecture at International Monetary Fund headquarters in Washington on September 6, the IMF said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Camdessus lecture, named for Michel Camdessus, the IMF's managing director from 1987 until 2000, is an annual lecture series that highlights the IMF's commitment to collaboration with member countries' central banks and provides a forum to discuss topical issues in central banking.
Previous lecturers include the heads of the central banks of China, the EU, the UK and the U.S.
