UralChem boosts production 3% to 3.23 mln tonnes in H1
MOSCOW. Aug 2 (Interfax) - UralChem increased output of commercial products 3% to 3.231 million tonnes in H1 2018, the fertilizer producer said in a statement.
The output of ammonium nitrate and its derivatives grew due to the increase in average daily output and the cutting of the repair times at the KCCW and Azot Branches. The company produced more phosphate fertilizers while output of complex fertilizers fell as VMF reoriented capacity towards more in-demand products on the market, the company said.
UralChem boosted supply to the domestic market 21% to 1.386 million tonnes in H1.
