Preparedness of Joint Ukrainian Forces' aircraft checked

KYIV. Aug 7 (Interfax) - The preparedness of army aviation aircraft stationed in the Joint Ukrainian Forces' zone of operation has been checked on the orders from Commander Serhiy Nayev; the planes successfully hit targets on land and at the sea.

"The preparedness of army aviation units has been checked on the orders from Joint Forces Commander Lieut. Gen. Serhiy Nayev. Crews and gunners were ordered on August 6 to arrive in a designated area of the Sea of Azov coast at the top speed and hit targets on land and at the sea," the Joint Ukrainian Forces' press center wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

The check proved the combat preparedness of the stand-by forces; gunners ensured the locking of targets by army aviation helicopters, and the targets were hit, the press center said.
