Saakashvili's comments on 2008 August War in S. Ossetia are a lie - Timakova
MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister's spokesperson Natalya Timakova finds it pointless to comment on former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili's statement about some circumstances of the war in South Ossetia in 2008 and says that all of this is a lie.
"There is no point to comment on the rubbish of an apparently mentally disabled person, a cowardly clown, who was placed on the international wanted persons list by his homeland, and who shamefully fled to another country," Timakova said on the Ekho Moskvy radio on Wednesday.
"All he is saying is a lie from his first to last word," the prime minister's spokesperson added.
Saakashvili spelled out his version of the 2008 events in an interview with the Ekho Moskvy radio on Tuesday.
