Ukraine preparing for new restrictions on transportation to, from Russia
KYIV. Aug 16 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan has announced new restrictions on transportation to and from Russia.
"I have signed a historic document today. Bears will be the only transport to Moscow, just like they were in the good old times," Omelyan wrote on Facebook.
He said that the restrictions would go beyond passenger trains.
As reported earlier, the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry has drafted proposals on countering Russia's activity in the Sea of Azov, including the end of railroad passenger service.
