Siegfried Wolf again chairs GAZ board
NIZHNY NOVGOROD. Aug 20 (Interfax) - Co-owner and chairman of Russian Machines Siegfried Wolf has again been elected chairman of the GAZ automobile group's board of directors.
Wolf chairs a new board of directors that shareholders elected at an extraordinary meeting in August.
The new board elected Wolf as its chairman at a meeting on August 16.
Prior to that, he chaired the board elected at the annual meeting of shareholders on June 27. But on August 8, the shareholders terminated the powers of that board and elected a new one for reasons the company has not explained.
The latest board contains four members of the board elected on June 27, namely Manfred Eibeck; former general director of Russian Machines; Siegfried Wolf, Russian Machines board chairman; member of the board of directors of Russian Machines, member of the board of directors of Russian Machines, Peter Koob; and GAZ group president, Vadim Sorokin.
The new directors are Gleb Nikitin, acting governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region; and candidates associated with Basic Element: Ilya Vazhenin, Irina Pustograyeva, Anna Kozlova and Vadim Geraskin.
