Too early to consider constitutional referendum in Armenia - Pashinyan
YEREVAN. Aug 22 (Interfax) - It is too early to discuss holding a referendum on amendments to the Armenian Constitution, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
Constitutional amendments are currently an option, but not more, Pashinyan told journalists in Yerevan on Wednesday, when asked if the Constitution will be changed through a referendum and whether there is a concrete timeframe.
"Constitutional amendments, changes, are not a goal in themselves. There can also be other solutions. The issue is under consideration," Pashinyan said.
It is too early to talk about a referendum, he said.
