Four Ukrainian soldiers killed, 7 wounded in 5-hour clash in Donbas - Ukrainian Defense Ministry
KYIV. Aug 23 (Interfax) - Four Ukrainian soldiers were killed and seven suffered injuries in a five-hour clash in Donbas, Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Dmytro Hutsulyak said.
"The five-hour battle killed four Ukrainian servicemen, and another seven sustained injuries of diverse degrees," Hutsulyak said on Thursday.
The defense ministry of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) said earlier that the enemy had tried to break through its defense lines near Zholobok. The LPR said three Ukrainian soldiers were killed and four injured.
