Russian industry minister reelected chairman of United Aircraft Corp board
MOSCOW. Aug 24 (Interfax) - Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov was reelected chairman of the board of directors of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) for a fourth term on August 20, the company reported.
The UAC board also includes Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov, who oversees the defense industry; Deputy Finance Minister Andrei Ivanov; UAC president Yury Slyusar; Anatoly Serdyukov, head of Rostec's aviation cluster; Boris Aleshin, science and technology advisor to UAC's president; Ivan Kharchenko, acting deputy CEO of Roscosmos; Deputy Economic Development Minister Mikhail Rasstrigin; and Deputy Transport Minister Alexander Yurchik. The independent directors on the board are Yevgeny Yurchenko, interim deputy governor of Voronezh Region, and Vladimir Potapov, chairman and CEO of VTB Capital Asset Management.
