Kyiv open to any ideas on releasing Ukrainian prisoners in Russia - FM
KYIV. Aug 30 (Interfax) - Kyiv is ready to consider any idea regarding the release of Ukrainians imprisoned in Russia, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.
"We are ready for any ideas regarding their release. [...] We've asked our friends and partners [for help] regarding access for real doctors, not Russian ones, international access, humanitarian release," Klimkin told reporters in Kyiv on Thursday.
A number of contacts on this issue will take place soon, he said.
"I'll make a point of not saying more," Klimkin said.
The matter will also be raised at the UN General Assembly in September, he said.
