HMEIMIM. Aug 30 (Interfax) - The Russian military in Syria is still reporting violations of the ceasefire by illegal armed groups operating in the Idlib de-escalation area.

"For instance, attacks on the populated localities of Kinsibba (three), Ikko, Kalaz-Tahtani, Jubb ez-Zarur, and Safsafa (two), on governmental forces' positions near Mount Deiruna (two) in the Latakia governorate [...], and on a scientific-research center (two) in the city of Aleppo have been seen in the past 24 hours," the head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides, Lieut. The Reconciliation Center is urging commanders of illegal armed groups to end their armed provocations and join the peace process.

Former militants have surrendered eight trucks and about 45 tonnes of ammunition of various types in southwestern Syria in the past 24 hours, Savchenko said.
