Too early to discuss Russian biathletes' violations - Kolobkov
NOVOSIBIRSK. Aug 31 (Interfax) - The documents reporting Russian biathletes' doping need to be thoroughly studied, Russian Sports Minister Pavel Kolobkov said in Novosibirsk on Friday.
"The document just arrived yesterday. Talking about violations would be premature," he said.
It is also too early to talk about a lawsuit, he said, adding that the relevant federation (the Russian Biathlon Union, or RBU) is thoroughly studying all the documents that have been received.
Earlier, the International Biathlon Union (IBU) told the RBU that four Russian biathletes violated anti-doping rules. The RBU promised to conduct an investigation.
