MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax-AVN) - China will receive S-400 surface-to-air missile systems from Russia on time, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said.
"[It will happen] within the timeframe set by the contract," Borison told reporters when answering a relevant question from Interfax.
China has become the first foreign country to buy Russia's S-400 Triumph air defense missile systems. A relevant contract was signed in 2014. The deliveries of S-400 systems to China are expected to be completed before 2020.
