Ex-Rossiya Airlines CEO Saprykin to be named head of Vnukovo Airport before Nov - sources
MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Dmitry Saprykin, who stepped down from his job as CEO of Rossiya Airlines earlier this month, will be appointed to the top job at Vnukovo International Airport before November, a source with knowledge of the matter told Interfax.
Vnukovo's current chief Vasily Aleksandrov will temporarily stay on as advisor to Saprykin.
Another source told Interfax that Saprykin's appointment to the new job would come as early as September and that he is already being forwarded the necessary documents. A Vnukovo spokesman declined to respond to a request from Interfax for information.
The newspaper Kommersant, citing sources, first reported in August that Saprykin would move from Rossiya to Vnukovo. A spokesman for Rossiya parent company Aeroflot confirmed on September 11 that Saprykin would step down but did not provide any information about his future plans.
